Description:

  • Praxent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) for a remote position based in LATAM.
  • The role involves enhancing the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories by the end of the sprint.
  • Responsibilities include cultivating camaraderie within the project team, developing features with novel technical designs, and mentoring junior developers through collaboration and code reviews.
  • The engineer will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) during sprints, managing pipelines and ensuring successful delivery of commitments.
  • The position requires presenting technical and sprint demos during review meetings and demonstrating proficiency in building user interfaces, data-driven REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
  • Daily activities include ensuring the team understands acceptance criteria, tracking progress, limiting QA kickback, and finding opportunities to increase capacity and velocity.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in at least two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data-driven REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects is required, including managing DevOps pipelines and acting as a technical lead.
  • Experience in building .NET applications and expertise in designing and implementing server-side applications using ASP.NET Core and C# is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience presenting to client stakeholders and articulating the business outcomes of development projects.
  • Mentorship experience through coaching and structured code reviews is necessary.
  • Relevant education may include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
