Remote LATAM Senior Software Engineer (React & .NET)

Description:

• Praxent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in React and .NET for a remote position available to candidates in Mexico and Brazil.
• The role involves enhancing the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories by the end of the sprint.
• Responsibilities include cultivating camaraderie within the project team, developing features with novel technical designs, mentoring junior developers, and managing pipelines and environments.
• The engineer will present technical and sprint demos during sprint review meetings and demonstrate proficiency in building user interfaces, REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
• Daily activities include ensuring the team understands acceptance criteria, tracking progress, limiting QA kickback, and finding opportunities to increase capacity and velocity.

Requirements:

• Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in at least two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data-driven REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects is required, including managing DevOps pipelines and acting as a technical lead.
• Experience in building .NET applications and designing server-side applications using ASP.NET Core and C# is essential.
• Candidates should have experience in building interactive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and integrating front-end and back-end components.
• Experience presenting to client stakeholders and understanding the business outcomes of development projects is necessary.
• Candidates should have mentorship experience through collaboration and structured code reviews.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
