Description:
Praxent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in React and .NET for a remote position available to candidates in Mexico and Brazil.
The role involves enhancing the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories by the end of the sprint.
Responsibilities include cultivating camaraderie within the project team, developing features with novel technical designs, mentoring junior developers, and managing pipelines and environments.
The engineer will present technical and sprint demos during sprint review meetings and demonstrate proficiency in building user interfaces, REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
Daily activities include ensuring the team understands acceptance criteria, tracking progress, limiting QA kickback, and finding opportunities to increase capacity and velocity.
Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in at least two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data-driven REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects is required, including managing DevOps pipelines and acting as a technical lead.
Experience in building .NET applications and designing server-side applications using ASP.NET Core and C# is essential.
Candidates should have experience in building interactive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and integrating front-end and back-end components.
Experience presenting to client stakeholders and understanding the business outcomes of development projects is necessary.
Candidates should have mentorship experience through collaboration and structured code reviews.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $2,793 to $3,720 USD per month, determined by role, level, and location.
