Description:

The Lead AI Engineer / Data Scientist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including researchers, data scientists, and software engineers to develop and improve AI systems.
The role involves fine-tuning large language models and implementing novel search and QA algorithms to enhance the capabilities of AI agents.
The engineer will develop and evaluate large systems of interconnected LLMs, addressing engineering constraints such as latency and model inference costs.
The position requires working directly with the founder and customers to understand requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions.
The engineer will tackle unsolved research and engineering problems, particularly those relevant to LLMs in production environments.
The role includes creating AI Agents.

Requirements:

Candidates must have professional experience building world-class, world-scale software solutions.
A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering is required, with a strong understanding of ML principles and techniques.
Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and implementing AI systems at scale is essential.
A demonstrated ownership mindset, self-learning abilities, curiosity, and a drive to push the boundaries of technology are necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges in AI engineering are required.
Proficiency in Python, Langchain, Llama Index, or other relevant AI frameworks is needed.
