Remote Lead AI/ML Data Scientist

Description:

• Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML data scientists to drive innovation and execution in AI/ML projects.
• Plan and execute AI/ML projects, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
• Develop and implement advanced AI and ML models using techniques like supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and deep learning.
• Identify and engineer relevant features from raw data to enhance model performance and accuracy.
• Evaluate and validate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques for robustness and reliability.
• Optimize model hyperparameters and configurations to maximize performance.
• Deploy AI and ML models into production environments for real-time inference and decision-making.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models, implementing systems for proactive issue detection and mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions meeting customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. PhD is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, focusing on AI and ML techniques.
• Leadership experience with the ability to lead and mentor data science teams.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas.
• Strong understanding of AI and ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
• Experience in feature engineering, model evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Familiarity with machine learning deployment and productionization.
