Description:
As the Lead Analytics Engineer at air up, you will be responsible for owning and leading the Analytics Engineering domain, playing a crucial role in building and shaping the function.
You will design, build, and evolve reliable data architectures to support air up's evolving needs for analytics and decision intelligence.
Ensuring consistent data integration and flow across various systems, modeling core data assets, and measuring and improving data quality and accessibility will be part of your responsibilities.
Implementing best practices for DataOps and observability to drive excellence, maximize technological leverage, and ensure data accuracy and discoverability will be essential.
You will lead and collaborate with other analysts and engineers, working closely with stakeholders to provide innovative and effective data solutions.
Requirements:
Hold a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field with a solid foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Have at least 7 years of hands-on experience as a data analyst or analytics engineer, with at least 2 years in technical leadership roles.
Proficient in one or more programming languages and have strong knowledge of modern data architectures, platforms, technologies, and paradigms, including expertise with cloud services like AWS or GCP.
Experienced in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data architectures, models, warehouses, and familiar with pipelines, platforms, and infrastructure.
Advocate for agile and lean methodologies, DataOps, and engineering best practices, with a strong problem-solving ability and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
Solid AB testing knowledge and relevant Marketing Analytics know-how are a plus.
