The company offers products like Farsight, a 3D processing and mission planning tool, and Identifi, a multimodal biometric system for secure identity verification.
The Lead Android Software Architect will lead the technical direction of the Identifi product, influencing product development and technology roadmap.
Responsibilities include leading software implementation for Identifi, maintaining software architecture for scalability and security, overseeing code quality and best practices, and mentoring team engineers.
The role requires collaboration with product management, software developers, QA, and customer success teams to translate user needs into technical requirements.
The architect will drive the technical vision for Identifi, identifying opportunities for innovation and ensuring the software infrastructure supports future growth.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10-20 years of experience in Android software engineering.
A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage complex projects from concept to deployment is essential.
Familiarity with biometric technologies such as facial recognition, fingerprint, and iris scanning is necessary, along with knowledge of standards like EBTS and FBI Appendix F.
A strong track record in mobile (Android) and backend development is required, with prior experience in an architect or lead role.
Expertise in the Kotlin/JVM ecosystem and Android NDK experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Android development, API design, UI architecture, and UX fundamentals is essential.
