The Engineering team is responsible for building features that enhance the financial ecosystem.
The Lead Back-end Developer will drive the development of scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using .NET Core and C#.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the engineering team and leadership, facilitating daily standups and sprint planning, and ensuring team alignment.
The role involves contributing to system architecture discussions, writing clean and efficient code, and partnering with front-end developers.
The Lead Back-end Developer will oversee code reviews, mentor team members, and work within a modern DevOps setup, deploying services to GCP.
Troubleshooting and refactoring legacy back-end codebases to improve performance and scalability is also part of the job.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in back-end development, with deep expertise in .NET Core and C#.
Prior experience leading or mentoring developers in a team setting is required.
A strong understanding of API development, systems design, and microservices architecture is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable deploying and maintaining services in cloud environments, preferably GCP.
Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and Firestore, is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices is expected.
A practical understanding of security and authentication methods, such as OAuth and JWT, is important.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to write clean, maintainable code and take ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
Clear communication skills in a remote environment, including the ability to give and receive feedback, are required.
