The Lead Back-end Engineer will join the Activation Team, which builds app experiences to engage members and optimize engagement, retention, and conversion.
The role involves leading the design of systems in areas such as data collection, payments, subscription management, content delivery, authentication, and authorization.
The engineer will work in a cross-functional agile team, collaborating with product managers, designers, data scientists, and marketing experts.
Responsibilities include designing scalable systems, breaking down complex problems for fast delivery, and mentoring engineers across the organization.
The technology stack includes Kotlin, Spring Boot, Python, FastAPI, Django, Google Pub/Sub, Grafana, Firebase Auth, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, DBT, BigQuery, Airflow, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, TypeScript, React Native, and Next.js.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development, including leading technical decisions and mentoring engineers.
A strong ability to design scalable and performant architecture is essential.
