Description:
Jabra Hearing is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to work closely with leaders in Product, Design, and Engineering to define and develop foundational elements of the company.
The ideal candidate will focus on creating a seamless customer experience and driving end-to-end customer journeys.
Responsibilities include owning and architecting product features using technologies like Node.js, GraphQL, Express.JS, PostgreSQL, React.JS, and AWS.
The role involves improving scalability, stability, security, and performance of backend systems, planning feature releases, supporting fellow engineers, and leading continuous refactoring and architectural reviews.
The Lead Backend Engineer will also participate in cross-departmental team meetings and collaborate on new business initiatives.
Requirements:
A B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates should have 8+ years of experience as a Back-End or Full-Stack Engineer.
A proven track record of delivering high-quality software to production environments is necessary.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, SQL, Node.js, Express.JS, GraphQL, and AWS cloud solutions is essential.
Candidates should have expertise in designing, building, and debugging APIs and distributed backend systems.
Leadership skills, collaboration abilities, and experience with TypeScript are preferred.
