The role of Lead Cloud Engineer involves leading the cloud team to design, deliver, and support cloud solutions that are redundant, scalable, and cost-efficient across multiple cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate will develop best practices for cloud engineering and implement optimal cloud solutions using the latest tools.
The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team while continuously seeking to improve their skills.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an AWS cloud environment is required.
Candidates must have experience in configuration management, containerization, automation, and infrastructure as code.
Demonstrable experience in working with web services, including public APIs, REST, and other web platforms is necessary.
Experience in designing and implementing best practice cloud solutions is essential.
Candidates should have experience supporting Windows Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
Experience in supporting relational databases is required.
A good technical ability and understanding of networking infrastructure is necessary.
Candidates must have experience working to and delivering on deadlines.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required.
Experience with networking, such as Site to Site VPNs, subnets, and firewalls, is highly desirable but not essential.
Cloud certification, Oracle DBA experience, scripting in Bash and PowerShell, experience moving applications to the cloud, and experience supporting .NET/Java applications are all highly desirable but not essential.
