Remote Lead Cloud Solution Architect

Description:

• Kyivstar is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Solution Architect to join their dynamic team and drive the establishment of an innovative Cloud Technology Center of Excellence.
• This role requires building a team and developing a business focused on offering AWS and Azure services and solutions.
• The Lead Solution Architect will play a key role in establishing Kyivstar's Cloud Technology Center of Excellence, which will focus on Data & AI Professional Services.
• The primary objective is to promote cloud technologies and migration services to B2B/B2G customers regionally and beyond.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, focusing on AWS and Azure services.
• Strong experience in implementing and migrating on-premises or cross-cloud workloads, as well as experience in complex IT solutions and Hybrid Cloud solution projects, is required.
• Experience in conducting solution assessments and selecting optimal cloud/hybrid architecture approaches to enhance and migrate existing infrastructure is essential.
• Proven ability to design complex solutions based on future-proof architectures that can adapt to evolving business needs over time is necessary.
• Practical usage of AWS services (such as EC2, EKS, S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, VPC, Network Firewall, RDS, DynamoDB, MWAA, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty) and Azure services (such as Azure SQL, ACS, AKS, App Service, Event Grid, Event Hub, Synapse, Fabric, Batch, Functions, Defender) is required.
• Experience in provisioning cloud networking architectures in a DEV/QA/PROD environment, utilizing Virtual Networks, VPN, Express Route/Direct Connect, Network Security Groups, and Load Balancers is necessary.
• Knowledge of best security practices centered around cloud is required.
• Experience in Data Analytics, Data Platforms, and Data Models (RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases) is essential.
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery experience, including Multi-region Deployment, Backup, and Restore, is necessary.
• Proven ability to excel in customer-facing roles, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, is required.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Certification as a Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is a plus.
