Remote Lead Consultant – Devops Engineer -Azure

Description:

• Brazoderecho is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure to join their team.
• This is a fully remote position, and candidates must be located in Chile.
• The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in project and team management is required.
• The position involves architecture, design, and building of cloud-based infrastructure and applications using Azure (IaaS/PaaS).
• Responsibilities include DevOps/CI CD platform design and implementation, and working with containers such as AKS, GKE, or EKS.
• The role also requires experience in Powershell/Python, Azure DevOps pipeline, Terraform enterprise, Docker, GitHub, and other DevOps tools.
• Candidates should have experience in HashiCorp Terraform development and maintaining large infrastructure on-premise and/or in the cloud.
• The position involves automated configuration and deployment, cloud deployment, and on-premise release workflows.
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, clustering, and firewall/security group security concepts is necessary.
• Candidates should have working knowledge of Linux and Windows systems administration and security concepts, as well as experience with several distributions of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows.
• Familiarity with version control software like GitHub and TFS, and experience with Jenkins/related CI tools is required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Powershell/Python is required.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps pipeline, Terraform enterprise, Docker, GitHub, and other DevOps tools.
• At least 3 years of experience in HashiCorp Terraform development is necessary.
• Proven experience using tools like Azure DevOps/VSTS to validate requirements, deploy, and troubleshoot deployments of code and technologies in staging and production environments is required.
• Experience maintaining large infrastructure on-premise and/or in the cloud is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience working with automated configuration and deployment.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment and on-premise release workflows is required.
• Experience working with cloud providers and large hardware installations is necessary.
• A solid foundation in operating and securing web servers, databases, systems, and configuration management is required.
• Candidates should have experience with networking, load balancing, clustering, and firewall/security group security concepts.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows systems administration and security concepts is necessary.
• Familiarity with version control software like GitHub and TFS is required.
• Experience with Jenkins/related CI tools, virtualization, and maintaining and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud is necessary.
