Beam is seeking a Lead Data Analyst who is passionate about data analysis and storytelling, and can partner with both business and technical teams.

The Lead Data Analyst will work with stakeholders to understand challenges and become a subject matter expert in data to optimize business operations.
Responsibilities include analyzing large data sets, building automated dashboards, and collaborating with other analysts to uplift team knowledge.
The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and drive clear business outcomes.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics is required.
A BA/BS degree in a quantitatively focused discipline is necessary; a Masters or PhD is a plus.
Candidates must have experience writing advanced SQL queries and possess advanced skills in Excel.
Experience in building data visualizations using BI tools like Looker is essential.
Strong communication and storytelling skills are required for effective client-facing data presentations.
An analytical, rigorous, and creative approach to problem-solving is necessary.
Experience with data modeling concepts, DBT, Git, predictive analysis, and statistical methods is a plus.
Familiarity with Python or R and prior experience in the insurance industry is also advantageous.
