Description:

Ocrolus is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to work with company data and support the rollout of a new streaming data and self-serve analytics platform.
The role involves designing and implementing data architecture solutions to optimize data processes and improve efficiency.
Candidates should have preferred experience with AWS or Azure cloud architecture and certifications in Tableau desktop or Snowflake.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines from streaming platforms like Kafka to ensure real-time data availability on Snowflake or other databases/data warehouses.
The Lead Data Analyst will build and optimize OLTP and OLAP dashboards for analytical reporting using visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets for business insights is a key task.
Extensive knowledge of Python for data integration, manipulation, and automation is required.
The position involves leading and mentoring a team of data analysts to ensure high-quality analysis and insights are delivered to stakeholders.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications is essential.
The role also includes optimizing and streamlining existing analytics processes to enhance reporting capabilities and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data architecture, and process optimization.
Expertise in SQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing database performance, and managing large datasets, is necessary.
Experience in building data pipelines from streaming platforms like Kafka and integrating them with Snowflake is required.
Proven experience in developing and optimizing OLTP and OLAP dashboards and proficiency in visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is essential.
Extensive knowledge of Python for data integration, manipulation, and automation is required.
Strong experience with data architecture, process optimization, and ETL pipeline management is necessary.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership and mentoring junior analysts is required.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams are essential.
