Description:
Otto Aviation is seeking a Lead for Data Analytics within its Digital Enterprise Services team, focusing on developing the world’s first fifth-generation business jet.
The role involves creating and implementing a comprehensive data strategy to support digital transformation goals.
Responsibilities include establishing data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
The candidate will design and maintain scalable data architectures to integrate information from various sources, including engineering, manufacturing, IoT sensors, and enterprise systems.
The position requires leading the development of advanced analytics solutions, such as predictive modeling and real-time dashboards.
The Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract actionable insights and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
The role includes developing interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Dassault Analytics Framework.
The candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Mentorship and technical guidance to team members and end-users on analytics tools and best practices are also part of the responsibilities.
The Lead is expected to stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative approaches to enhance data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications in Analytics, Machine Learning, or Big Data are a plus.
The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and managing scalable data architectures and analytics platforms is essential.
Hands-on experience integrating data from systems such as Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, ERP platforms, and IoT sensors is required.
Expertise in data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica) and ETL pipelines is necessary.
Proficiency with analytics and visualization platforms such as Tableau and Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn) is required.
Strong knowledge of SQL and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is essential.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or H2O.ai is required.
Experience in creating APIs and ensuring system interoperability for data exchange is necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, critical thinking, organization, problem-solving, self-motivation, teamwork, and strong business communication, are essential.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, sit at a desk for prolonged periods, and lift up to 20 pounds.
