Description:
Construct and maintain scalable, robust data pipelines to support analytics and machine learning applications, focusing on efficiency and data quality.
Oversee the ingestion, storage, and processing of extensive datasets to ensure consistency and accessibility for advanced data strategies.
Utilize technologies like Snowflake, Airbyte, and Airflow to enhance data operations and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with analytics engineering and product teams to understand data requirements and develop technical solutions for improved data usability.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data team, promoting best practices in data management and governance.
Stay updated on the latest data technology trends and continuously improve data systems and practices.
Requirements:
Proficiency in ETL processes, data modeling, metadata management, and IaC principles, with experience in Terraform for infrastructure management.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes, cloud platforms (especially AWS), Python, SQL, and distributed job/query optimization.
Experience in mentoring junior data talent, steering projects to align with business goals, and knowledge of modern data architectures.
Ability to write and review technical documentation effectively and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Strong team player with proactive, self-directed work culture, operating well in a global, remote-first environment.
