Remote Lead Data Engineer

Description:

• Radicle Health is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join their remote team and assist in building and maintaining data infrastructure.
• The role involves designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Responsibilities include ensuring the quality and accuracy of data, engaging with stakeholders to identify pain points, and documenting business requirements.
• The Lead Data Engineer will develop and implement data quality processes, monitor and maintain data infrastructure, and document data pipelines and models.
• Staying updated on the latest data engineering technologies and leading by example in developing scalable data solutions are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, a Coding Bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Candidates must have 6+ years of experience as a data engineer.
• A strong understanding of data warehousing and data lakes, particularly with Snowflake, is essential.
• Proficiency in establishing data governance strategies, goals, principles, and policies is required.
• Proven ability to design and implement data pipelines is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are a must.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
• A deep understanding of database principles, including relational and NoSQL systems, data modeling techniques, and SQL standards is needed.
• Prior experience with Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Postgres/Azure SQL, Airflow, and Python is required.
• Experience in developing Healthcare applications is considered a significant plus.
