Remote Lead Data Engineer

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Docker are required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in building production-grade data pipelines at scale is preferred.
• Familiarity with geospatial libraries such as numpy, pandas, rasterio, geopandas, and xarray is necessary.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and cloud integration using boto3 for AWS is required.
• Knowledge of database management tools like SQLAlchemy, GeoAlchemy2, pgvector, and psycopg2 is essential.
• Experience with inference pipelines, including pre-processing and real-time inference strategies, is required.
• Familiarity with satellite image formats and AWS infrastructure is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates should possess soft skills such as being self-led, collaborative, and eager to learn.
