  • The role of Quality Lead at Veeva OpenData involves streamlining quality control processes while leading a remote team of Quality Control Data Stewards.
  • The Quality Lead will collaborate across departments to optimize reporting, workflows, and documentation, fostering a detail-oriented, excellence-driven team culture.
  • Responsibilities include designing, innovating, and optimizing processes and workflows to ensure best-in-class delivery of data quality and efficiency.
  • The Quality Lead will develop and maintain clear and concise documentation, including policies, training materials, and work instructions.
  • The role involves leading a team of 20+ Quality Control Data Stewards from onboarding and coaching to performance review.
  • The Quality Lead will work with fellow Quality Leads to ensure alignment on Quality Control processes and monitor performance to meet quality and productivity targets.
  • The position requires running reports on data quality and performance and supporting the Quality Manager in analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration with other teams and stakeholders like Operations, Engineering, and Product Management is essential.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience in implementing and/or developing Quality Control processes.
  • A process-oriented mindset and systems thinking with a proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements are required.
  • Strong people management skills are essential, with a preference for 3-5 years of leading and managing high-performance teams in a service center environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive β€œcan do” attitude are necessary.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality are critical.
  • The ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and keep projects on track is required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and clear, concise communication are essential.
  • Experience in the analysis of complex datasets and the creation of dashboards is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps, MS Office, and other office software is required.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
