Description:

Multi Media LLC is seeking a Lead Data Platform Engineer to scale a data platform that processes petabytes of data for analytics, data science, and machine learning teams.
The role involves leading the team responsible for ETL, data warehousing, and data governance processes, as well as making architectural decisions for greenfield projects.
The engineer will coordinate closely with the head of engineering, head of product, machine learning, and analytics teams to build roadmaps, prioritize work, and drive team success.
Responsibilities include mentoring and supporting the data platform team, managing Snowflake and other data infrastructure, serving as a subject-matter expert for data security, governance, and performance, and managing the team’s daily operations.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proven technical leadership or management experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data infrastructure.
Deep expertise in ETL architecture and infrastructure tools is required.
Excellent knowledge of SQL and data modeling tools is necessary.
Candidates must have excellent knowledge of the Snowflake platform.
Experience with DBT (data build tool), GCP, and AWS is considered a plus.
Expertise in DataOps and security is also a nice to have.
