Description:
You will work with a global team dedicated to the development of E-Commerce products and new methodologies to measure how people shop online.
The position supports E-Commerce offerings in the South-East Asia markets.
Responsibilities include evaluating current E-Commerce Product methodologies to identify opportunities for enhancement.
You will research new methodologies and quantify their improvement.
The role involves delivering on methodology enhancements to E-Commerce products, improving overall quality from the client perspective.
You will deliver codebase and documentation to local Data Science, Technology, and Operations teams.
The position requires prototyping as well as supporting pilot programs to drive innovation.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields involving statistical analysis of large data sets is required.
At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field is necessary.
Familiarity with E-Commerce and Consumer-related knowledge is essential.
A strong attitude for data analysis and problem-solving skills is required.
The candidate should have a drive to continuously learn and adopt new technologies and tools.
Experience in high-level programming languages, preferably Python, is needed.
Knowledge in SQL, working with queries and large-scale databases is required.
Excellent statistical and logic skills are necessary, including experience in trend analysis, sampling, bias reduction, data aggregation, and model validation techniques.
Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills are essential.
The ability to effectively convey complex concepts to non-experts is required.
Business acumen, with the ability to link client's needs with the business, is necessary.
