• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to support business applications, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions for critical databases, and monitoring database performance.
• The role also involves leading and mentoring a team of database administrators and developers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, managing database technologies for MS SQL Server (mandatory) and PostgreSQL (optional), and working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in database administration, including leadership roles.
• Proficiency in database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization is required.
• Expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with database replication, partitioning, and clustering is essential.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for database deployments is required.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is needed.
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher is mandatory.
