Remote Lead Developer

Description:

• Lead the development team and oversee the architecture as the Lead Developer.
• Manage the migration from Node.js (Express) to Fastify v2 and guide front-end development using React and TypeScript.
• Handle database operations on MySQL hosted on AWS RDS.
• Shape the technical direction of projects to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Mentor engineers, drive best practices in software development, and maintain technical quality, security, scalability, and stability.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and handle infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Foster a collaborative environment, encourage open communication, and ensure the stability of the existing system during migration.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience with 2 years in a lead role.
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express), Fastify, React, TypeScript, MySQL, and AWS RDS.
• Experience with third-party API integration and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
