Description:
IT Labs is seeking a DevOps Lead who values their skills and contributions and is looking for professional and personal growth.
The role involves shaping and maintaining highly resilient, scalable, and secure environments across AWS and Azure.
The DevOps Lead will define best practices, build smart solutions, weave automation into deployment pipelines, and lead a team with vision and precision.
Responsibilities include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, leading a team of DevOps engineers, and ensuring adherence to best practices in deployment, monitoring, and security.
The position requires defining and enforcing CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation standards using Terraform, implementing workload and service migration strategies, and optimizing cloud costs.
The DevOps Lead will also design and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker, ensure compliance with HIPAA and ISO 27001 security standards, and develop strategies for auto-scaling and disaster recovery.
Collaboration with business stakeholders to align DevOps strategies with business needs and maintaining technical documentation related to cloud infrastructure is also essential.
Requirements:
Candidates must have over 7 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms is required.
Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices is essential.
A solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and security protocols, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, is necessary.
Experience with cost optimization strategies in AWS and Azure environments, including governance frameworks and budget management, is required.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities in managing and developing DevOps teams are essential for this role.
