Description:

The Lead DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment of code across different environments.
This role involves working closely with software engineering teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into the development lifecycle.
The engineer will deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based production systems, ensuring their availability, performance, scalability, and security.
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in development, testing, and production environments is a key responsibility.
The position requires fostering a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer is required, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
A solid grasp of automation tools, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and scripting languages (Python, Bash) is essential.
Expertise in continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) methodologies and tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) is necessary.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) is required.
Candidates should be adept at using configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience in networking principles and security best practices is important for ensuring robust and secure infrastructure configurations.
A strong understanding of code versioning tools, including Git, is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience is necessary.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues, are essential.
