Description:
The Lead DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, releasing, and managing state-of-the-art applications.
This role involves automating and enhancing development and deployment processes while leading a team.
The position requires collaboration, innovation, and efficiency to bridge complex systems and inspire a team.
The engineer will ensure that gaming and AI projects are developed, tested, and deployed seamlessly.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment of code across different environments.
The engineer will work closely with software engineering teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into the development lifecycle.
The role involves deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing cloud-based production systems, ensuring their availability, performance, scalability, and security.
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in development, testing, and production environments is essential.
The engineer will foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer is required, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
A solid grasp of automation tools, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and scripting languages (Python, Bash) is necessary.
Expertise in continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) methodologies and tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) is essential.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) is required.
Candidates should be adept at configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience in networking principles and security best practices is necessary to ensure robust and secure infrastructure configurations.
A strong understanding of code versioning tools, including Git, is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience is necessary.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues, are essential.
