Remote Lead DevSecOps Engineer - Contract

Description:

• The Lead DevSecOps Engineer will help standardize and enhance DevOps and security practices within the company.
• Responsibilities include overseeing the provisioning and configuration of AWS resources, leading the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, identifying and analyzing threat models, patching vulnerabilities, enhancing logging and metrics instrumentation, and advocating for continuous improvements.
• The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of client applications and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of DevSecOps engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading DevSecOps teams.
• 4+ years of AWS production experience.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation, preferably with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy.
• Hands-on experience with virtualizing or containerizing applications.
• Production experience with observability tools like Cloudwatch, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automating operations.
