Description:
The Lead eCommerce Fullstack Developer will be responsible for leading the technical resources in the middleware layer of a composable commerce website.
The role involves orchestrating services between the front-end presentation layer and core service providers of eCommerce.
The position requires a deep technical knowledge of implementations, serverless functions, and orchestration of multiple services.
Responsibilities include implementing best practices, developing standards, mentoring team members, and contributing to the technical direction of the company.
The Lead Developer will collaborate with various team members across the Americas and report to the VP, eCommerce Delivery.
Essential duties include working with business partners to implement solutions, leading a team to develop middleware solutions, designing technical solutions, ensuring continuous improvement, and communicating with peers and management.
The role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining solutions within the full stack of the digital storefront.
Qualifications include at least 7 years of experience with eCommerce systems, understanding of MACH principles, expertise in coding languages and frameworks, AWS architectures, best practices, and design patterns.
Desired skills include experience with MACH architecture, leading middleware solutions, serverless functions, AWS implementations, coding languages like JavaScript and Node.js, and driving continuous improvement in team results.
The Lead Developer should have good communication and mentoring skills, be a team player, and have experience with a Retail company.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience with eCommerce systems.
Deep understanding of MACH principles and implementation.
Strong expertise in coding languages and frameworks.
Understanding of AWS architectures.
Passion for implementing best practices and design patterns.
Experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
