Remote Lead Engineer, Authentication & Authorization Service

Description:

• Vannevar Labs is seeking a Lead Engineer for their Authentication & Authorization Service team.
• The team focuses on building defense software to support public servants in keeping the country safe.
• The role involves expanding from one product to an ecosystem of products, with a focus on shared services and infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include designing and building an authorization system for multiple applications, supporting granular permissions on data assets, and driving the technical vision for platform security.
• The Lead Engineer will collaborate with other engineers to deliver customer value and stay updated on emerging technologies in the authentication and authorization domain.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software development, specifically working on business-critical systems deployed in production environments.
• Experience leading the design or architecture of systems within the authentication and authorization domain.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams to solve engineering problems.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.
• Preference for candidates with previous security clearance and U.S. Person status to access U.S. data systems.
