Remote Lead Engineer

Description:

• HighLevel is seeking a Lead Engineer to develop scalable backend services for memberships & courses.
• The role involves designing, developing, and managing APIs and services.
• Responsibilities include customizing components and web applications using Vue.js.
• The Lead Engineer will collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and QA testers.
• The position requires writing clean, tested, and scalable code for thousands of users daily.
• Troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining core product software and databases are essential tasks.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in Full stack engineering with Node.js and modern Javascript frameworks like Vue.js (preferred), React.js, Angular.
• Proficiency in building scalable applications and understanding software flow.
• Experience with relational/non-relational databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Firestore for backend services.
• Ability to design and build web services and integrations with third parties through APIs.
• Proficient in code versioning tools like Git/SVN.
• Experience with GCP technologies and Stripe integrations.
• Experience in building media streaming applications.
