Description:
Troupe Health is seeking a Lead Engineer to be the first full-time engineer hire, responsible for leading the technical design and development of clinical workflow, analytics, interoperability, and AI projects.
The Lead Engineer will collaborate with the Head of Product to refine product strategy, make key decisions about technical architecture, and develop the tech stack.
Responsibilities include recommending the use of AI and cutting-edge technologies, defining engineering processes, leading the development of new products and features, and managing the Troupe data model.
The position involves overseeing a team of outsourced engineers and future hires, focusing on care delivery, care coordination, and behavioral health services for senior living communities.
Requirements:
3+ years of software development experience in healthcare technology companies, with at least 1 year in a startup product environment.
2+ years of experience in building EHR, provider documentation, care management solutions, or technology solutions for senior living communities.
Proven track record of delivering reliable, scalable distributed systems in a production cloud environment using AWS.
Experience with Agile development, problem-oriented roadmaps, and collaboration with Product Management.
Hands-on coding experience with React.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Typescript.
Benefits:
Full-time base salary range of $120K to $160K, depending on experience, plus equity & benefits.
