Description:
The Lead Engineer will work with a new team to develop StackAdapt’s Marketing technology offering.
They will integrate services in StackAdapt’s Customer Data Platform and Platform.
Responsible for architecting scalable low-latency backend systems and data pipelines, and writing code as needed to support the team.
Leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers within the backend distributed systems team.
Making a positive impact on the team's productivity and growth.
Promoting software development best practices and conducting rigorous code reviews.
Identifying and solving technical challenges.
Conducting interviews to attract potential high-performing candidates.
Balancing and prioritizing projects to maximize efficiency and achieve company objectives.
Requirements:
Experience with MarTech or Email marketing.
Proven track record of delivering results and leading growing, high-impact teams.
At least 5 years of experience in software development in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices, and data pipelines in a successful high-growth technology company.
At least 1 year of leadership experience, including all the responsibilities listed above.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
Up-to-date knowledge and experience in the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Experience with Go and high-performance databases is a plus.
