Remote Lead Engineer/Engineering and Implementation Manager

Description:

• The job involves working as a Lead Engineer/Engineering and Implementation Manager for a prime contractor on a $807m task order supporting the General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Digital Infrastructure Technologies (IDT) DIGIT task order.
• The role focuses on driving digital transformation and delivering continuous improvement and business value to customers by leveraging advanced technologies like intelligent automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
• Responsibilities include evaluating business requirements, designing and implementing solutions on platforms like ServiceNow, managing on-premise infrastructure, developing automation strategies, leading DevSecOps initiatives, proposing system modifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on industry trends.
• The position requires hands-on implementation of solutions, technical guidance to team members, and documentation of system configurations and procedures.
• The work is remote and may involve supervising others.

Requirements:

• Must have a Public Trust Clearance by the start date.
• ITILv4 Foundation Training and Certification required within 120 days after hire.
• Need a minimum of 3 years of experience in Agile and DevOps projects.
• Proficiency in network architecture, data storage systems, security protocols, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell, Linux and Windows systems, and leading projects.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills are essential.
• Desired qualifications include a broad understanding of IT concepts, ability to work independently, attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience with VMware, Git, ServiceNow, and identity solutions.
