Description:
The Lead Front-end Engineer at PublicSquare will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the mobile and web apps.
They will collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and PM teams to execute the development roadmap and optimize the cost, reliability, and scalability of the mobile/web tech stack.
The role involves working with TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, NextJS, React, Capacitor, Tailwind, and other technologies.
Responsibilities include partnering with the Product team to execute differentiating capabilities and selecting and delivering high-value technical initiatives.
The Lead Front-end Engineer will supervise development best practices, assist in system architecture design, and participate in production support as needed.
They will evaluate and implement new frameworks and design patterns, develop team members, and work in a rapid, agile development schedule.
Requirements:
10+ years of software development experience, including a background as a software architect or lead developer.
Experience in fast-paced SaaS startup and scale-up companies.
Leadership and organizational abilities with proven experience in a leadership role.
Effective communication skills, ability to inspire and motivate staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
High emotional intelligence, integrity, strategic thinking, and problem-solving aptitude.
Strong writing and presentation skills, knowledge of technology trends, and the ability to conduct technological analyses.
Bachelor's degree in a technology field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science.
