Description:

Truelogic is seeking a Lead Front-End Engineer to spearhead a major redesign initiative for a widely used gift card discovery platform.
The role will focus on enhancing mobile usability, embedding native features, and driving user engagement through an improved user interface.
The engineer will collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams across different regions, leading the front-end vision while ensuring accessibility and performance standards are met.
Responsibilities include leading the reskin, rebrand, and UX redesign of the digital gift card application, integrating the gift experience as a native component within a broader fintech platform, and improving digital setup and customer activation flow.
The engineer will build scalable UI components using Storybook and Tailwind CSS, ensure WCAG-compliant accessibility, maintain high code quality with React Testing Library and Jest, and communicate effectively with client stakeholders and distributed development teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of front-end development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Expert-level proficiency is required in React & Redux, Tailwind CSS (or similar utility-first frameworks), Storybook, React Testing Library / Jest, and accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Experience working with distributed teams across time zones is necessary.
Proven success in delivering performant, scalable, and accessible applications is required.
