Description:

Truelogic is seeking a highly skilled Lead Front-End Engineer to lead the redesign, rebrand, and modernization of a major digital gift card platform.
The role focuses on elevating the user experience through mobile-first optimization, performance enhancements, and embedded promotional tools.
A critical part of the role involves building and documenting reusable UI components in Storybook and integrating with Contentful, the platform’s CMS.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on React expert who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience collaborating across distributed teams and directly with clients.
Responsibilities include leading the front-end redesign, optimizing mobile usability, integrating gift cards within a fintech ecosystem, improving customer experience, developing reusable UI components, maintaining CMS integrations, ensuring accessibility compliance, writing unit tests, and collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Expert-level proficiency in React & Redux, Storybook, Contentful or similar headless CMS platforms, Tailwind CSS or other utility-first frameworks, and React Testing Library / Jest is required.
A strong command of accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices is necessary.
Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Experience working with distributed/remote teams is required.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to deliver scalable, performant front-end applications.
