Description:
The Lead Full Stack Engineer will be joining the Bots team at Front, focusing on customer support tooling such as chat systems, knowledge base platform, chatbot automations, and integrations.
The role involves working on Front's contact management system to enhance omnichannel capabilities.
The position offers the opportunity to have a significant impact by expanding interactions and integrations with new systems to cater to various customer needs.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to enhance Front's chat, chatbots, contact management, and knowledge base.
The Lead Engineer will be involved in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, testing, and launching improvements and integrations.
They will lead engineering teams, assess technical complexity, mentor junior engineers, and maintain high technical standards.
Development will primarily be in a JavaScript environment, focusing on TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
Requirements:
Must have experience leading teams of senior software engineers and delivering product-focused features and enhancements.
Industry experience in building fast, reliable, real-time web-based applications is required.
Proficiency in dynamic languages like JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or similar is necessary.
Familiarity with modern web technologies, including Node.js, ES6, TypeScript, and React.
Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
Strong product and business orientation with a commitment to building the best user experience.
Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
Understanding of engineering trade-offs and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
