Description:
Avero is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to lead and manage a team of engineers in designing and implementing various internal and user-facing applications.
The role involves fostering a collaborative and quality-focused engineering culture to address complex business problems faced by customers and partners.
Responsibilities include mentoring existing engineers, participating in hiring and onboarding new engineers, and managing day-to-day operations in an agile environment.
The Lead Full Stack Engineer will develop roadmaps, milestones, and goals in conjunction with a product manager, set expectations and KPIs, and foster a culture of accountability.
The position requires building relationships with senior leadership and advocating for ideas and initiatives.
The role includes occasional on-call duties to support production infrastructure and leading by example as a senior individual contributor.
Requirements:
Candidates must have hands-on, expert-level experience with Angular and intermediate experience with React.
A strong ability to integrate with and troubleshoot REST and GraphQL APIs is required.
A metrics-driven approach to leadership, mentoring, and processes is essential.
Applicants should have 6+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or engineering manager role.
A commitment to collaboration in a remote-first engineering organization is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
