Description:

The Lead Game Designer & Game/Creative Director will be responsible for everything related to the design and direction of the game Combat Warriors.
This role includes designing live-service game updates and being responsible for specific content concepts and ideas, such as weapons, movesets, and event quests.
The designer will also be tasked with designing new features and mechanics, modifying existing features and aspects of the game, and maintaining quality standards.
Additional responsibilities include procuring and/or vetting freelancers and contractors for all art-related roles, conducting interviews and hires in their discipline, and serving as a final decision-maker in their discipline.

Requirements:

Candidates must be able to receive and filter out community suggestions and feedback effectively.
They should not be afraid to make controversial or substantial changes and must be able to withstand and objectively interpret community criticisms.
The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills for complex design issues and be willing to scrap large amounts of work if necessary.
They must be proficient in providing detailed and extensive feedback and references/descriptions, even if it requires multiple iterations on a single task to meet the desired vision and standards.
Familiarity with a vast array of other media related to the game, such as Naruto, One Piece, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Call of Duty, and League of Legends, is essential.
Creativity and a good eye for quality across all art-related disciplines, including VFX, 3D Modeling, SFX, and UI/UX, are required.
General technical knowledge of tools used for development, such as Roblox Studio and Blender, is also necessary.
