Description:

  • The Lead Gameplay Developer will be responsible for crafting innovative game systems and features for a new AAA title.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop engaging gameplay systems that introduce unique game mechanics.
  • Work closely with designers, artists, and fellow engineers to plan, execute, and refine game systems utilizing Unreal Engine 5.
  • Optimize systems architecture using C++ to ensure streamlined gameplay experiences.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the development pipeline and system architecture designs.
  • Identify and address issues in the development phase to ensure smooth gameplay functionality.
  • Manage technical debt strategically to minimize and address it effectively.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of professional experience in successful AAA game development teams, preferably on PC or Console platforms.
  • At least 2 years of specialized experience in C++ development.
  • Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 and other AAA game engines.
  • Comprehensive experience in developing systems for AAA titles, with deep knowledge in core areas such as animation, AI, camera systems, physics, networking, or rendering.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills to inspire and elevate team performance.
