Description:

IDT is looking for an experienced Lead Golang Software Engineer to join the team running a global payment service for all IDT divisions.
The service is called IDTPay, which supports all card and bank payments of B2B and B2C services and company applications with hundreds of millions of dollars in turnover.
IDT Pay is PCI compliant and works with various payment processors such as Stripe and AWP, as well as other payment systems and directly with banks in the USA.
The role involves leading and expanding functionality and payment methods, providing support and improvements, and representing the team.
Responsibilities include working on new features and bug fixes in the Scrum team, taking responsibility for the full software development life-cycle, and collaborating with business stakeholders.
The engineer will demonstrate a technology-agnostic positive attitude with the ability to learn and implement solutions using various technologies.
The position requires working on high-performing, mission-critical, scalable, and resilient web-based applications and services, while driving technical excellence and tech debt reduction.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of production experience in Go or other programming languages.
A strong understanding of modern design patterns and proven experience applying them is required.
Experience in designing and maintaining complex systems is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with microservices, logging, and monitoring.
Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB, is required.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is essential.
Strong knowledge and experience with Docker and Git are necessary.
Experience in leading a team and managing client, business, and vendor relations is expected.
A good level of English, B2 or higher, is required.
