Description:

  • The Ticketing Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain resilient systems for their ticketing platform.
  • The ideal candidate will oversee the entire company infrastructure, including database management, ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining website uptime, implementing security measures, and improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
  • The role involves working with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform.
  • The position requires excellent English and French communication skills, 5-10 years of infrastructure design experience, and expertise in security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with the ability to optimize and understand its intricate details.
  • Fluency in Node.js, particularly in TypeScript.
  • Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi.
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
