Description:

  • The Lead Growth Engineer position at Circle involves supercharging the product's growth through data-driven experiments that impact user acquisition, increase monthly recurring revenue (MRR), reduce churn, and support all go-to-market functions.
  • Responsibilities include optimizing onboarding flows, refining billing infrastructure, building internal tools for the sales team, collaborating with Sales to improve conversion paths, and working closely with a global team of engineers and a product leader.
  • The role requires shipping often with quality work, leading and mentoring a global team of engineers, developing and executing data-driven experiments, collaborating across the go-to-market org, and owning end-to-end project management for impactful results.
  • Additional tasks involve designing and implementing A/B tests, analyzing user data, and engaging with internal stakeholders to align on growth priorities and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong alignment with the company's values.
  • Proficiency in English at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading and mentoring engineers in growth-focused environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience with expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, Sidekiq, Kafka, and payment integrations (especially Stripe).
  • Ability to drive product-led growth through A/B tests, data analysis, and optimization.
  • Strong project management skills, strategic thinking, clear communication, and a proactive, data-driven approach.
  • Passion for creating user-centric solutions that drive growth and make a real impact.
