Description:

  • The Ticketing Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain resilient systems for their feature-rich ticketing platform.
  • The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire company infrastructure, including database management.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems, monitoring website uptime, and implementing robust security measures.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, expertise in server infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud Platform), proficiency in PostgreSQL, fluency in Node.js, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi.
  • Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL for optimizing and understanding the underlying layers.
  • Fluency in Node.js, particularly in TypeScript.
  • Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi.
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of React and React Native.
