Description:

CellCarta is hiring a Lead Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Operations to join their team remotely.
The Lead Infrastructure Specialist will provide level 2/3 technical support for cloud solutions.
Responsibilities include receiving service desk tickets, managing cloud environments, coordinating maintenance, debugging issues, compiling system designs, and providing recommendations to the IT Manager.
The role involves working with vendors to troubleshoot support issues, planning software installations, maintaining contact with employees until issues are resolved, and providing technical assistance and training to users.
The specialist will create SOPs and change management documentation, install and configure operating systems, develop systems for deployment and asset management, and perform system monitoring.
Troubleshooting and maintaining systems such as SharePoint and Teams, creating scripts, and ensuring compliance with company SOPs are also part of the job.

Requirements:

A degree in a computer-related or other STEM field is required.
Candidates must have more than 6 years of experience in IT.
Proven experience in administering AWS environments, including deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and cost optimization is required.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking and VPCs is necessary.
Experience with Linux environments is required, with a preference for Linux deployment and administration knowledge.
Experience with CI/CD techniques and Terraform scripting is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools is preferred.
Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch is preferred, and experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
The individual must be independent, resourceful, and possess a good aptitude for problem-solving.
