Description:
Correlation One develops workforce skills for the AI economy, partnering with enterprises and governments to close critical data, digital, and technology skills gaps.
The Lead Instructor for Cybersecurity will play a key role in driving elements of Correlation One’s multiple training programs, focusing on training learners in larger format lectures ranging from 20 to 2,000 participants.
Classes are virtual and taught over Zoom and other virtual learning technologies like Slack.
The program starts on March 30, 2025, and ends on September 9, 2025, with lectures scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-2:30 pm ET.
Instructors will lead a “virtual classroom,” instructing learners using Cybersecurity content provided by Correlation One, preparing in advance for all assigned live sessions, and offering additional expertise and resources from the Cybersecurity community.
Instructors may also create casework and curriculum for additional compensation if interested.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity field, along with a degree or strong credentials.
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a remote environment, is required.
An excellent educator with a passion for teaching and helping others is essential.
A degree in a technical field and/or industry experience in a technical role is necessary; post-graduate and research work at top institutions are strong pluses.
Experience working with the Unix terminal, especially with cybersecurity-related applications, is required.
Outstanding team and people management skills are essential.
Familiarity with topics such as Networking, Kali Linux, Endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ Certification training, and Triage is necessary.
