MentorMate is seeking a Lead iOS Developer to join their Mobile team in a remote capacity.
The role involves overseeing the technical life cycle of feature development, bug resolution, and technological enhancements.
The Lead iOS Developer will lead and mentor a team of iOS developers, providing technical guidance and support.
Responsibilities include managing client expectations, researching and adapting functionality to leverage existing iOS design patterns, and architecting scalable software solutions.
The position requires collaboration with team members from product, content, and web development.
The developer will code using Swift and iOS frameworks and oversee the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications.
The mobile development team utilizes the latest technologies such as Swift UI, Jetpack Compose, React Native, and Flutter to create native and hybrid mobile apps for various industries.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of software engineering experience.
A minimum of 6+ years as an iOS Developer is required.
Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team is essential.
A Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline is required.
Strong proficiency with Swift is mandatory; experience with SwiftUI is a plus.
Candidates should have experience publishing apps and familiarity with back-end development.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is necessary.
An excellent understanding of managing limited resources (memory, network, CPU) efficiently is required.
Candidates must possess excellent spoken and written English skills.
