Description:
CodePath is a national non-profit focused on creating a diverse generation of software engineers, CTOs, and founders.
The Lead iOS Development Instructor will provide in-class instruction to university students across the nation.
Instructors will plan engaging lessons using CodePath curriculum and ensure the course meets program KPIs while integrating student feedback.
The role is part-time, remote, and runs from December 2024 to May 2025, including pre-course training.
Instructors will lead online class sessions of approximately 100-250 college students weekly.
They will review course material, oversee the course with the Program Manager, and participate in onboarding syncs with co-instructors and teaching assistants.
Instructors will implement course improvements based on feedback and may provide feedback to other instructors during check-ins.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of full-time working experience in a software development or engineering role.
A strong understanding of iOS technologies and development is essential.
Familiarity with Swift is required.
Candidates should have experience managing shifting priorities while maintaining organization.
A passion for training the next generation of developers and some teaching experience in educational, volunteer, or work settings is necessary.
Preferred candidates will have 1+ years of instructional experience with a demonstrated track record of educational excellence.
Benefits:
This position is seasonal and part-time, with an hourly pay range of $75-$100, dependent on experience.
