The Lead IT Security Engineer will be responsible for shaping and implementing ZOE's IT security strategy.
This role is critical for ensuring the protection of ZOE's SaaS-based environment, devices, and data.
The engineer will collaborate with various teams to mitigate key security risks and embed a culture of security within the organization.
Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive IT security roadmap, driving security programs, assessing and managing security risks, and enforcing security policies.
The engineer will also lead security compliance efforts, monitor and respond to security incidents, and cultivate a security-first culture through training and collaboration.
The position requires evaluating and deploying security tools while maintaining a balance between security and user experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience in corporate IT security, cybersecurity, or information security, preferably in a fast-paced, SaaS-based environment.
Proven ability to design, implement, and own security strategies independently is required.
A strong understanding of network security and device management is essential.
Awareness of cloud security practices (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is necessary.
Hands-on expertise in incident response, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and security operations is required.
Deep knowledge of security industry best practices and data privacy regulations (GDPR, DPA, CCPA) is essential.
Experience in embedding a security culture through training and awareness programs is necessary.
Candidates must be able to effectively communicate security risks and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset is required, with the ability to tackle complex issues independently.
Experience working in a remote, international team is a plus.
