As a Senior Software Engineer Lead, you will utilize your technical knowledge and experience to become a trusted advisor to customers and drive internal standards.
You will work closely with other engineers to ensure projects align with customer requirements.
The role involves a mix of hands-on delivery work and thought leadership, including writing blogs and engaging with the Google technical community.
You will stay updated with emerging technologies and complete professional certifications regularly.
The project involves a large application in the Fin-Tech industry for reporting financial trades under Mifid II EU regulation, utilizing event-driven architecture and Big Data.
Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, acting as a release manager, creating ramp-up plans for new recruits, developing technology improvement roadmaps, and facilitating team ceremonies.

Requirements:

You must have at least 8 years of experience with Java 8 or higher.
Proficiency in the Spring framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring MVC, is required.
Experience with relational (MySQL) and non-relational databases is necessary.
Familiarity with RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems is essential.
You should have experience with Docker, Git, and writing REST APIs.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and Websockets is required.
Experience with large projects and hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Familiarity with Spring Amqp, Project Reactor Webflux, Grafana, Prometheus, Kubernetes basics, React basics, and Big Data basics is desirable.
Experience coding in the financial sector is also a nice-to-have.
